Essential Water operates services for around 10,500 water services customers in Broken Hill, Menindee, Sunset Strip and Silverton and 9,500 sewerage services customers in Broken Hill.

As a retailer and distributer, we supply treated water, recycled water and untreated water to our customers, and manage associated operational and retail systems and customer enquiry services.

Your feedback will be considered as part of our future plans and help inform part of our submission to the Independent Pricing & Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) for the review of water and sewerage pricing from 2019-23.

In preparing our submission, we are taking into consideration operational sustainability, service levels, customer demographics and economic, environmental and health considerations. Our aim is to balance the investment in water infrastructure required to meet community needs, while minimising price increases for customers.
