Opt-in session earthing design reports requirements with the retirement to Neutron

What is happening?

Essential Energy will be retiring the earthing software, Neutron, in May 2027. All earthing reports must continue to comply with CEOM5113.02 High Voltage A.C. Distribution Earthing. Accredited Service Providers (ASPs) may use any earthing software capable of producing a compliant report; however, Essential Energy recommends Streets by Safearth. Reports generated using another software package may require review by an Earthing Engineer and incur an Ancillary Network Service fee.

Essential Energy will host two optional information sessions for Level 3 ASPs to outline the changes to earthing design report requirements. The sessions will also include an introduction to Streets by Safearth, the software Essential Energy will use following the retirement of Neutron.
