Reminder: Level 2 ASPs’ Notification of Service Work (NOSW) submission obligation
NOSW Connection obligation
Essential Energy reminds all Level 2 Accredited Service Providers (ASPs) that, in line with the current Service and Installation Rules of NSW, you must submit a Notification of Service Work (NOSW) within 2 working days once service or connection work is completed on our network.
Submitting a NOSW:
- helps ensure our network records remain accurate
- supports timely customer service, and
- reduces safety and compliance risks.
Please note that repeated or serious non-compliance may be reviewed and where appropriate, may result in removal of an ASPs Authorisation to work on Essential Energy’s network.
What do you need to do?
- Review the above and ensure all connections applications requiring a NOSW have been completed and submitted in the Essential Connections Portal.
- Communicate this information to relevant members of your organisation.
