Reminder: Level 2 ASPs’ Notification of Service Work (NOSW) submission obligation

NOSW Connection obligation

Essential Energy reminds all Level 2 Accredited Service Providers (ASPs) that, in line with the current Service and Installation Rules of NSW, you must submit a Notification of Service Work (NOSW) within 2 working days once service or connection work is completed on our network.

Submitting a NOSW:

  • helps ensure our network records remain accurate
  • supports timely customer service, and
  • reduces safety and compliance risks.

Please note that repeated or serious non-compliance may be reviewed and where appropriate, may result in removal of an ASPs Authorisation to work on Essential Energy’s network.

What do you need to do?

  1. Review the above and ensure all connections applications requiring a NOSW have been completed and submitted in the Essential Connections Portal.
  2. Communicate this information to relevant members of your organisation.
