ISSC Safety Alert - Testing of connections to low voltage electricity networks
What is Happening?
The NSW Industry Safety Steering Committee (ISSC) is a body established by the Minister for Energy to identify opportunities for, and take appropriate actions to, facilitate prompt and effective resolution of safety issues relating to the electricity networks.
The ISSC has developed a safety alert to reinforce the need for polarity and neutral integrity testing for workers performing service work on the low voltage network. This alert outlines the minimum testing procedures and specific control measures that should be undertaken.
