Reminder – Live Low Voltage Work Restrictions

Background

On 4 April 2019 Essential Energy placed temporary restrictions on all live low voltage pole and / or cross arm replacements involving open wire exposed conductors. This briefing is a reminder that these restrictions remain in place until further notice.

Essential Energy are working on control measures that will enable us to lift these restrictions and will be communicating with Level 1 ASPs in the coming weeks seeking confirmation that your company has implemented appropriate safety systems and confirmed relevant employees are competent to perform live work prior to these restrictions being lifted.
