Clarification on Live Connection Request Lead Times

What's happening?

Essential Energy wishes to clarify the requirements outlined in CEOP2015 - Division Procedure: Contestable Works Guidelines (Terms and Conditions for Contestable Works) 2.8.2.8 Request for Connection.

The current issue 14 states that a minimum of 5 days’ notice is required for Live Connections, this applies only to ‘Live Work Requests.’ For Connection Requests where Essential Energy performs the live connection, connection requests must be lodged a minimum of 28 days prior to the connection date.

What do you need to do?

  1. View CEOP2015 - Division Procedure: Contestable Works Guidelines (Terms and Conditions for Contestable Works) via the Document Library.
  2. Communicate this information to relevant members of your organisation.
