Every five years, Essential Energy sets a plan for how we run and improve the electricity network. We want to make sure we’re focusing on what matters most to our customers.
This survey takes approximately 6 minutes. Your responses will be used to inform our proposal to the Australian Energy Regulator.
Please respond by Friday 24 April 2026.
Please read the short descriptions below, then rank the priorities in Question 1.
Reliability — Fewer outages, faster restoration, keeping up with growing demand.
Resilience — Preparing for storms, fires and floods; timely updates during outages; helping communities recover.
Affordability — Keeping costs low, showing value for money, treating different circumstances fairly.
Increasing network use — More connections share fixed costs, reducing bill pressure; targeted upgrades to support future growth.
Future-readiness — Making it easier to connect solar, batteries and EVs; upgrading the network for two-way energy flows.
You cannot respond to this survey unless you are a part of the project panel.
