A warm welcome to the Essential Stakeholder Network
We’re excited to welcome you to the Essential Stakeholder Network (ESN) - a network of customer and community advocates engaging with Essential Energy to help shape our services and strengthen outcomes for regional, rural, and remote communities across NSW.
The ESN brings together representatives from a diverse range of organisations and community groups that represent the perspectives and interests of our customers, so that we can be better informed and improve our service delivery, and progress with the priorities that matter most to our customers.
What you can expect
Topic-specific discussions:
Join discussions on topics that interest you (e.g., customer bills and affordability, energy technologies).
Early-stage input:
Help shape thinking early in the process; to influence how Essential Energy develops new initiatives and responds to challenges faced by regional, rural and remote NSW communities.
Visibility on issues, projects and initiatives:
We aim to keep everyone informed about the discussions and outcomes that ESN members are involved in, and in formats that can be shared with your members if relevant (e.g. Factsheets).
Share feedback and customer concerns:
Our door is always open, and we want to have conversations with you that can improve our customers’ experience. We will be responsive and work through any queries or concerns directly with you or your members.
Engagement activities:
The calendar of engagement activities for 2026 will be developed further as we continue to engage with you. We will incorporate your feedback and design activities that address both your needs and our business objectives.
This group is new and evolving. Active participation is encouraged - ask questions, share insights, and help us improve the ESN so it works best for you.
Thank you for joining the ESN. We look forward to working with you.
