Essential Water operates services for around 10,500 water services customers in Broken Hill, Menindee, Sunset Strip and Silverton and 9,500 sewerage services customers in Broken Hill.

As a retailer and distributor, we supply treated water, recycled water and untreated water to our customers, and manage associated operational and retail systems and customer enquiry services.

  • Involve people in the planning process who will be directly impacted by decommissioning and construction
  • Consult on changes to project activity
  • Consult on cultural heritage and archaeological considerations
