Sneak Peek
The battery is generally a configuration of six individual cabinets (about the size of a fridge) which are stacked back-to-back in two rows atop a concrete base.

Battery Installation
We're looking to install the battery in early November 2024. We're placing the battery close to our existing electricity assets and the council water pumping station near Blackwood Street. Construction and installation will take approximately two weeks.
What should you expect during the construction period?
- Around three staff on site from our contractor Ventia
- Trucks, utes and trailers, making beeping noises when reversing
- A crane
- Traffic control when lifting batteries into place
- Use of power tools
